“One of the goofy things I remember a while ago from an interview with one of the show writers was that Luna was on the moon sleeping when A Canterlot Wedding was going on. It was just a throwaway comment as a joke but it stuck with me. I guess the comics reinforce that a bit.
Anyway, I like the idea of Luna sleeping on the moon, sometimes you need a bit of time away from the stress of running a kingdom in partner with your sister.
