I think you may have misunderstood me. By “people who stop at nothing to force their fandom down other people’s throats”, I’m talking about those people who go EVERYWHERE they can and try to make EVERYONE watch it. You know, those people who don’t stop until you block them or they get banned, only to then make a second account to continue bothering you?
 
Those people exist in every fandom and they give fandoms in general a bad name and, as a result, fans in general are often stereotyped to be like that, leading to alot of people hating you merely for liking something.

If they consistently bothered you in a chat online maybe, but if it’s just ponies plastered as a reaction image the people who get offended by that seriously would need to reassess what they get mad at. People post reaction images of all sorts of things, why can’t I post a pony.
