I don't think this is really that much of a crack ship. I could easily see Twily going for a nerdy guy like Sunburst.


 
I just got this strange mental image of Sunburst and Sunset Shimmer somehow being related, though. They should have Sunburst go to the EQG world sometime with Glimmer and explore the possibility of a relation between Sunny and Shimmy. Cousins? Siblings separated at birth?
