A sequel to “Mouse Trap”.
Brainstorm headed toward Carousal Boutique to see if he could get help from Rarity. Since she is the most fashion savvy pony in town, and kind, maybe she can help him out of this jam. Rarity was reading a newspaper article about the stolen dress, when Brainstorm walked in. “I just can’t believe some pony managed to steal a dress.” she said. She then heard the bell at her door.
“Welcome, what can I do for you darling?”, said Rarity. “Um. What were you just reading?”, asked Brainstorm. “Oh, the latest article. It’s about the dress that was stolen in Manehatten.”, explained Rarity. “I wish there was a way I could help, but I’m too busy to do any detective work.”, she continued. “Why, do you know anything about the dress?”, she asked.
“Well… I might know where it is. But, Pinkie Pie promise me you will help me out.”, said Brainstorm. The Pinkie Pie Promise is very famous in Ponyville. “Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye. Now please tell me!”, said Rarity. And Brainstorm told her the whole story. “I didn’t mean to steal it, I was just hiding from some thugs.”, he said.
“Do you think you can contact the designer, and convince her to drop the charges?”, he asked. “Well, I could try, but I am not sure Silk Shine would.”, Rarity said, doubtingly. “Would you try?”, begged Brainstorm. Rarity nodded. “Okay, I’ll try. But only because you were in danger.”, she said.
She sent a letter to Silk Shine explaining everything. Several days went by. Then, Silk Shine came into the boutique to talk to Rarity. Brainstorm hid in the room. “I hear you have my dress.”, said Silk.
“It’s right here.”, said Rarity, and presented the dress. Silk inspected the dress. “Hmm. Other than the missing tag, it’s in good condition.”, Silk said, sounding not too worried. “Now, bring me the this ‘Brainstorm’ you were speaking of.”, she said. Brainstorm sheepishly walked up.
“Sorry miss, I…”, Brainstorm was interrupted. “Save it, I read all about it in the letter Rarity sent me.”, said Silk. “I know you were just hiding, but your crimes mustn’t go un punished.”, she said. Brainstorm’s heart sank as a tear started to come from his eye. “That being said, I will drop the charges, if you come and work for me.”, she said.
Brainstorm sighed with relief. “Okay, I’ll do it!”, he said excitingly. Working for Silk would be much better than going to jail. “You will report to me at the town hall in a couple of days.” said Silk. “Right.”, said Brainstorm. Two days later, Brainstorm reported for work.
“Okay Ms. Shine, what do you want me to do first?”, asked Brainstorm. “Put these on.”, Silk said, and handed him a yellow leotard with a short light yellow skirt. “W-What?”, asked Brainstorm. “Is there a problem?”, Silk asked. “No, it’s just that, I thought I was just going to do janitorial work.”, Brainstorm said.
“I was, but then I remembered how you stunned the crowd in aww.”, Silk said. She continued, “They loved you in that dress, so I thought, I’d just give you a modeling job.”. “But this is way more revealing than the dress. What if somepony sees my… You know?”, questioned Brainstorm. “I’ve got that covered. Oh Sam, honey!”, SIlk called. A unicorn stallion walked in.
“Meet Sam Makeup. He is an incredible makeup artist.”, she said. “He can make anypony look like anypony.”, she continued. “Sam, be a deer and make this stallion look like a beautiful mare?”, she asked. Sam inspected Brainstorm. “ I can do it.”, he said.
And with a glow of his horn, he lifted Brainstorm into the air. Brainstorm felt is ‘special parts’ get pushed and tucked inward, and some tape was wrapped around his lower region to keep them from coming out. Next came the corset as he slipped it on him and tightened it real tight, to give him a more feminine figure. He then slipped the leotard on him really easy. lastly, came the makeup.
The tools moved so fast that Brainstorm didn’t know what happened. “It is done.”, said Sam, and showed Brainstorm a mirror. Brainstorm looked at himself. He looked so attractive, that he was about to get ‘stiff’, but the tape prevented that. “Good, now that you are ready, it’s Showtime!”, said Silk, pushed Brainstorm to the stage.
Brainstorm wasn’t sure about this.
