I skipped to this guys reaction to Thorax and I was so tempeted to not watch anyhring from him because of his jokes about Thorax.

Luckily the G5 reaction was way better.

I liked Animated James, and while I respect AC’s opinion (especially since I think he’s usually the only one who’s always a blind reactor), I really thought BlackGryphon was whiny (we know you hate the theme: you can shut up about it and not bang on your piano for five minutes) and more like those teens on the Fine brothers video.

At first I was going to give you some shit in the comments, but then I did watch the link, and it was quite nice. I STILL STAND that ACRacebest did a good job, I had quite a laugh while watching his work. But the one provided was also entertaining.

While the changelings are loosely based on honey bee archetype, I highly doubt that a changeling king’s sole purpose is to mate with a queen only to have his reproductive organs explode in a balled of glory. Surely a changeling king must have a better purpose than to just breed and die, otherwise what would be the purpose of going through a(n) (assumingly) big process of establishing a king in the first place when you can have any run of the mill drone to do it?
 
We’ll just have to wait and see what a king’s purpose is later on in the show.

He’s also the worst character because he’s a forced addition and a plot device with not much character, he was created to be Chrysalis’s replacement and nothing more. He made 2 appearances only before being made a king, Twilight had at least 3 years of development he had 2 appearances worth, it’d be like if Starlight was made an alicorn right after being “reformed”, he’s a special snowflake character born differently and “misunderstood” who personifies the cliché of looks define whether you’re good or bad, he was a mistake in general and as a king.
 
The worst part is they had a solution in the episode with the glowing wings signifying a potential different way of feeding that no longer makes them hungry and it was completely ignored, it had no importance in the episode at all and was replaced the magic solve all solution. The dropped plot element of having Thorax have the glowing wings and no longer being hungry just being suddenly replaced also leads me to believe Hasbro forced the change like they did with the crystal castle in the season 4 finale, like the writers had a better idea but Hasbro forced the new designs.

He’s welcome to his opinion, but I feel he really need to give him a chance in the next season before he decides. I know AC is sort of known as a troll but I thought he’d give the show more of a benefit of the doubt by now.

So me an ugly/unattractive character in MLP that wasn’t mean or evil.

According to ACRacebest (and his gf), Thorax is now the worst character in the show because of the way he looks despite the fact that we have yet to see his new personality as the changeling king, and how he handles the new title. I guess appearances are more important than a character’s personality and actions.
