Pretty much confirmed by a leak. The cat-guy in the movie is gonna have flintlock “blasters” come with his toys, at the very least. I see no reason for him not to have them on him in the movie. You should probably take the leak with a grain of salt though.

The age rating is updated; there might be something mentioning guns today.
Well if you look at older American cartoons, guns in kids shows were actually pretty common. I don’t think the presence of guns affected there age rating.

What age rating would firearms be in USA? In several countries, you can have firearms in kids shows … but this is a joint-USA-Canada production.
The pony is show accurate: the glow is well made … but the gun itself is overly detailed.
Overall I would say it’s show accurate.
