As I said, I don’t think it’s bad so I guess I phrased that wrong. What I meant to say is it’s just not really up to the quality I’d expect for how high it’s rated and the kinds of things I generally see featured. Obviously a lot of people, clearly the majority, like it and so it deserves all the votes it has.
I think it’s great that an unknown artist is getting featured, it should happen more often, so keep on keepin’ on.

This was one of my suggested picks for getting featured. The overall rough look is what makes it one of my personal favorites, actually. I think it’s fitting for AJ in a way.
People aren’t obligated to upvote the featured image and saying that it’s undeserving of those given is a bit unfair.
I agree. More detail doesn’t necessarily make it a better picture. I find the linework simply looks sloppy and unrefined, and the fact there’s no body further leans toward an unfinished look overall. It’s not bad, just not great enough to deserve all the upvotes and featured image.
