So everyone runs away after seeing the vortex of darkness but Spike stands there holding Rarity’s useless over packed junk. Either he’s a loyal pack mule to the end or he’s going toe to toe with King Sombra. It would be cool if he fought even just a little.

Spanish isn’t “fancy language”. And it would be “Rey Sombra”, “King Shadow”, or, better yet, “Shadow King”

King Sombra.  
Sombra is a fancy language term for “Shadow”.  
So therefore, King Sombra is the “King of Shadows” or better yet Queen Chrysalis’s husband.
