Also because Princesses’ hair is not real hair either, but an ethereal magicky wavy thing.
Because that is actually massively difficult to do right, and increases your render time by orders of magnitude. Also, you can do it in programs like Blender (which I am using) but it is not possible in simpler programs like SFM.
That said, I’m also looking into doing just that in the future :)
