Looking at your statement again, I find myself wishing a whole lot more that Pegasi were based off of the platypus.
In a fight between a midget and a birb, the birb will almost always win, because they fight dirty. FACT.
And they enjoy summer birbicues.
Would make more sense than them suddenly being able to lay eggs despite being mammals and not platypi.
They got that proud look on their face like “Look at what I made~!” which would make it all the more ironic if they were in denial of having found some pre-made already fertile eggs in someone else’s nest. XD
I think they just stole a griffin’s children and called them their own.
