On a side note: I think that the class level is how much dark power is in the creature (S-God level e.g. Nightmare, A-highly powerful in own right, B-E lesser powers of darkness). Both Rarity and Applejack could easily overpower anything that comes at them (if it can get threw their friends and loved ones), but in terms of raw power I think that only Rarity, the princesses, Discord, and maybe a few Dragons would be true threats, I.E. S-class.
