I hate to say it, but the show nowadays is just too much edge, & shock-value, but not enough funny.
Sadly, it’s happening to most “adult” cartoons/animated sitcoms.
I can just imagine an episode where Meg commits suicide and nobody even cares. In fact, they’re glad that she’s dead. Seth would and could do that, he’s insecure about his own life enough to just let it all out through Family Guy like he did with most of Season 8.

She did say she cuts herself, I’d hate to imagine a cutie-mark for that.
