Ok, just throwing my 2 cents in. By all accounts she should be dead in like a few mins, but fic logic states if you don’t see a corpse/the death, then they are most likely alive/will come back. But come on she has deep-ish open wounds with broken bones in the middle of the ocean after being thrown by the neck at high velocity with the closest help she could get being hours away. She would most likely drown and/or be eaten by sharks while being in extreme pain from the salt water in her wounds. Though (I don’t exactly know the rules in this fic I fade in and out of it)there might be magic/tech to bring her back, so meh.
