So uh.  
Starlight Glimmer is one of the most controversial MLP characters right now.  
If not the most.  
So I can understand how this sort of thing started.
 
My reason for uploading this though, is because I find  
Twilight & Starlight’s teacher-student relationship fascinating,  
for many reasons.  
Being a fan of the s1 thru s3 teacher-student bond between Celestia and her pupil Twilight Sparkle, for example.

There could’ve and should’ve been more episodes focusing on  
Starlight’s Friendship Lessons and her ‘Rehab Redemption’.
 
But I feel like the ones they have done this season were well crafted,  
with satisfyingly written characterizations.  
In fact, I would have to say Starlight Glimmer episodes of s6 are among its best (for better or worse).
 
With possible exception to A Hearth’s Warming Tail.  
I did like how Twilight read the story to let Starlight see her past mistakes from a more symbolic storytelling angle in A Hearth’s Warming Tail, so the framing story-above-the-story was good.  
But I’m fairly tired of A Christmas Carol remakes in media.  
For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils from season 4 was more creative about that, too.

In a lot of ways, that makes this art. The best kind of art. It reaches deep down into a person’s gut and grabs ahold of something and won’t stop shaking it until something springs loose.

Actually you can filter Starlight without missing Trixie, it’s called complex filters. Starlight Glimmer, -Trixie

I was stating how this episode made me react. Not stating an opinion as fact or attacking anyone elses. There was no artist to feel hurt or content above the image rating. I can’t filter Starlight because I’ll miss a lot of good Trixie and Twilight stuff.
 
This is getting ridiculous. If I had said the same thing on a discord or sunset image no one would care.

Oh WTF, seriously ciaran? That was worth deleting? I said I didn’t like the ending of this episode and apparently thats just going too far. Or was it my distaste for discords redmption and Radiant hope in general that “triggered” you.

I have no problem with Starlight Glimmer be redeemed(if freaking Discord can become a good guy than why not her), but the way the show went about it was definitely lackluster to say the least.

Which is apparently nothing according to season 6, both in terms of what Starlight learned and in what Twilight taught.
