True true, but when they’re drawn like this or the other one of Celestia by Frogbians it practically makes them look sublime. I noticed practically all characters with wings in general aren’t drawn very big.
Most tend to follow the example set by the show, which I can understand to a point, certainly easier to draw.
You and I my friend share the same admiration. I wish alicorns were depicted with beautiful big wings more often
Now that I stop looking at the wings, no. However, those appear to be styled after a Lunar Moth.

I think Nightmare Moon is saving Chrysalis. Chrysalis seems to be chained to the floor, and the picture is titled “Salvation”. Additionally, the artist tagged the initial post “lesbian”.
