“When in doubt, draw snakes” is apparently just my art in general
Exploring the design of this pet snake of hers I draw her with a bit. probably because what made me draw this is a little pic of that snake enemy in one of the versions of Fromage coiling up the witch character which is stuck up near my computer XD
So that’s where this came from I guess.

It’s a different style completely, not only a different breed of snake obviously but like not even the same sort of theme.
Kaa is really thin and really really long. A lot of snake hypnosis art including mine is based around much bigger snakes.
I’ll admit I do love kaa and the scene from the jungle book but it does NOT justify my entire love of hypnosis stuff, nor of snakes, nor those two things together.
It’s perfectly understandable for someone to get into snake hypnosis stuff purely from the snake hypno stuff already being produced that aren’t necessarily revolved around kaa
This picture is also based off of a little thing from an unfinished indie game

Sometimes, hypno snakes don’t eat their victims, they just have sex. ;3

As said elsewhere, snakes hypnotizing people with swirly eyes became a thing with Kaa. It’s not like it’s this common snake trait. As for looking nothing like him, if I put him and Kaa side by side, admittedly, I can tell that it’s not the same pattern on his scales and this snake’s eyes are farther apart, but, well… I had to do that.
(Though, this one distinguishes himself from Kaa by not trying to eat her. Though what he is trying to do, I dunno.)

Well, this snake has a head. Kaa has a head. Barney has a head. Hitler has a head. A bureaucracy has a head. Fluttershy’s dick has a head. Therefore they are all the same!

I might draw Kaa hypnotizing some pones just for that reason alone
(I actually know a handful of users utterly despise Kaa and other snakes in hypnosis art, but eh. XD )
