Vectors are not always traced.
 
Vectors from the show are always traces. Because they are basically cookie cut outs from the show. And ES recolors them for his OC Silverlay and others.  
And frankly, I don’t have a problem with it, since he doesn’t really claim anything. Thought, I don’t know if he makes the vectors all by himself, or uses vectors from other users.

In case of EStories, it’s all traced. You can visit his livestream whenever he streams. Every single piece in his comics is shown to be traced and he is proud of it :O
