I’m already having problems buying gems as it is because whenever I even TRY to buy them, it either says “Verification required” or “transaction failed”. I didn’t even buy anything before now and it STILL wants more money!

That was the good thinghing about the Amazon version, you actually get your Gems for free… Albeit slowly, but you do get them! And the worst bit is actually spending such Gems in order to win those wretched Bow Ties.
 
The downsides are you can only friend other Amazon Users, and Amazon… Or Gameloft, in c/o Amazon can hardly be assed to keep the Game updated. Still stuck on Coco Pommel Icon… However long ago it’s been now.
