In videos; the DHX crew has explained that they've gotten the task of drawing the human characters at least. I wouldn't be surprised if they got the task of drawing the ponies too.
They get paid; do their work and deliver.
I get the feeling that too few companies informs about issues.
What if DHX actually said "hey, these are sirens, not ponies" ...
We don't know the details; but it would be nice to know.
