Fun Facts (more to be added later maybe):
Fun Facts (more to be added later maybe):
- Star Swirl was carried by Trixie and the twins were laid/hatched by Discord, Star Swirl was a surprise even for Trixie and Discord, as it was not expected that Trixie could bear his children. That’s why of the three, Star Swirl is the only one with a cutie mark. It also explains why she has pony/deer features, she’s more ‘equine’ than her brothers. Still all Draconequus, just add emphasis to the ‘equus’.
- Discord calls Star Swirl his ‘little Estrella (star)’ (Eh-streh-yah), partially as a term of endearment and partially his contempt for her namesake (Trixie chose her name, Discord wasn’t about to fight her seeing as she was going through the most chaotic pregnancy ever seen across any species). She ends up going by Princess Estrella when she’s older as well, interchangeably.
- Spectacle is the older twin, by a few days - they came out of the same egg. They didn’t know they were having twins, so when Spectacle came out alone (in a blast of confetti and sparkles), they just kept the eggshells for sentimental value - it was only when Star was playing magician and used one of the halves for a ‘hat trick’ did she end up pulling Hat Trick out of thin air. Needless to say, it was her best trick.
- Despite being a few days younger, Hat Trick celebrates his birthday on the same day as Spectacle since they came out of the same egg.
- Star Swirl is very protective of her little brothers, especially little Hat Trick and they’re all very close, as close as can be.
- The twins are more inclined to stand on two legs, while Star Swirl is more inclined to use all four.
- Star Swirl is in a on/off relationship with Princess Luna and Octavia’s daughter Lady Eventide and outside of that, dates around quite a bit, the twins aren’t yet interested in those types of adult things - Hat Trick does have a very innocent crush on his best friend Pacific Rose (Diamond Tiara/Apple Bloom) though it’s mostly just friendly.
- Hat Trick is on the autism spectrum and all three have different types of ADHD. (it’s from Trixie’s side)
- Star Swirl is an apprentice of Discord, learning how to use chaotic magic from her father, she’s also a student of Twilight and the magic of friendship from Aunt Twilight - Trixie also teaches her the tricks of her trade. She works in the Canterlot Observatory with Moondancer when she’s older. She’s the most versatile and educated of the three and as such ends up being the most powerful of the three having power and knowing how to use all different types of magic.
She might be the best magic wielder in Equestria (outside of Celestia, Luna and Discord), just for how versatile, intelligent and powerful she is.
- Spectacle is the magician by trade of the three, though they all perform. He has the most passionate love for it and makes Trixie very proud. He has the weakest magic of the three, though he has as much magic as any skilled unicorn. He makes up for it with the best slight-of-hand for tricks. He also has natural chameleon and shapeshifting abilities.
- Hat Trick has the most raw power of the three of them, however he prefers to read and tend to plants/flowers - if he does any magic, it’s with Zecora and Apple Bloom making potions and also his own experiments with alchemy.
- If there is another cycle of the Elements of Harmony after the Mane Six save Equestria and sacrifice their own lives to do it, Star Swirl will be the Element of Magic.
- Hat Trick’s name might be the most thought I’ve put into a name - ‘hat trick’ (as in pulling a bunny out of the hat -since he has bunny features, which is unique to him), ‘hat trick’ (as in three successes of the same kind, and he’s the third child) and ‘hat trick’ (sounds like Trixie)
