I was talking about ants not changelings, though that would be interesting.
Seeing as most of them appear male or genderless, I don’t think that’s the case.
Yes they do reproduce asexually, the queen ant will lay eggs continuously. Among those species that reproduce sexually, the queen may choose to fertilize eggs at will, She generates young through asexual parthenogenesis or better known as cloning. The offspring will be exact replicas of their mother but will remain infertile females unless they are chosen to become reproductive.
It is, but any that are die even quicker than normal.
The reproductive systems of bugs and other animals with a million million birthrates seem to not be affected by incest, I’m certain. :3
