Well, let’s think about this… You’ve got some competition, though…

I know somepony who’s the most adorkable little mare in the world… She loves to spend a quiet evening stargazing, talking about the secrets of the universe. She loves to learn anything and everything she can, and most of the time, when I want to talk about something forever - on and on, that most people will get bored and start ignoring me, she keeps listening. Not out of a feeling of obligation or anything, but because she sees things as I do - she loves the things I love, and she makes me feel less lonely.

This mare understands how I see the world because she sees it much the same way. She’s not perfect, she falls short sometimes, but she’s absolutely perfect in her imperfection; for she has these ideals she never gives up on, no matter how tough things get. Sure she gets down when the world’s fallen apart and on her tail, but she comes around in the end.

She’s cute, smart, loves reading, and I think she’s much the same as me in these ways - how she has things she loves to go on about but nobody wants to listen, and it makes her feel kind of lonely, I think, so I think she’s happy to have someone to share her loves, just as I’m happy to have her to share mine. We see eachother both as better than the other sees themselves, and we make eachother be our best selves, to go a little further - to believe in ourselves because the other believes in us, and so we become our best selves.

She’s the pony I want to be with forever. Who I love, with whom there is such great understanding, who loves the things I love, I want to wake up every morning and see her face, sleeping peacefully in all its real beauty, who I want to lie down at night with, and comfort each other as we fall asleep in eachother’s hooves…

That’s some real fierce competition other mares gotta watch out for. In fact, I’d say I’m pretty well decided this pony’s my waifu. Good thing I’m looking at her right now.

I’d say, since the universe coalesced out of a cloud of energy and began for the first time, since time started to flow and the universe arrayed itself into all its beauty, majesty, and glory that we can but scarcely look up at the heavens and only begin to comprehend - since all of that - all of that has commemorated in the single grandest creation, the most important thing in the universe - and the universe doesn’t know it, but that’s okay, because it’s so wonderful just the way it is - this mare is sitting in front of me, now…
