All I’m saying is that when Chrysalis promised a revenge beyond all imagining, I don’t think she knew just what Starlight’s already had to wrap her head around. What could a fallen queen do to her that would be worse than seeing the death of all Equestria and knowing that it was at her own hoof, that she’d left the world in ashes out of nothing but spite and ignorance?
 
Sure, it was (partly) an accident, but that’s not the point. The point is that if Chryssy wants to deliver suffering beyond any Starlight can imagine, she’ll have to at least top what Starlight’s already experienced, and there’s no way she could possibly know how high that bar actually is.

Thinking about it, Chrysalis has now been defeated by Celestia, Twilight, Cadance, Starlight, and Luna was certainly giving her a pasting in ‘Siege of the Crystal Empire’.
 
The list of ponies who have kicked her teeth in is quite a storied bunch. Starlight should be proud.

Neither Twilight or Starlight have even the beginnings of an idea of what Starlight did that led to that outcome, and given the way all the other timelines played out, it was almost definitely an Outside Context Threat that took advantage of the lack of Elements why Starlight remained “small-time town dictator” after ruining Twilight’s life, like literally every other time.
 
If anything, The Cutie Remark just validates Chrysalis’ assertions of Starlight’s small-mindedness.

Twilight’s gotta win her back over somehow… For all we know Tirek’s either hanged himself in his cell or found Pony Jesus by now.
