That image alone is heartbreaking enough with how Fluttershy looks so scared and frightened in it.
They are so boned
Missing the fact they drained out all the magic from Tyrek again, the only way for him to become as powerful as would be if Chrysalis intentionally helped him to steal magic all over again and I am pretty sure Discord could stop them before it got any out of control.
Also Chrysalis ought to be smarter than give him power, I mean we all seen what happened every time he gets powerful enough not to need the help from others, he turning on her is as likely as Twilight reading books.

Yeah, you get double-crossed and stripped of your magic as Tirek wants to rule unopposed.
And she’s probably heard about what happened the last time someone worked with Tirek…

What I’m saying his, Chrysalis could have Tirek on her side. Since she has all of the Princesses, she technically could do what she wanted with Tarterus, and Tirek has all ready been shown to be able to handle Discord, so she might have freed him as a counter-measure to the possibility of Discord intervening.
Luckily I just read the recap on TV Tropes so you’re spared.
The big bad is Chrysalis, not Tirek, so…nope.
