Though I read the entirety of Batman: Knightfall (in which Batman gets his spine broken by Bane) and watched part of The Dark Knight Rises where the same thing happens. I never really paid much attention to how Batman managed to paralyze himself.
 
Considering that its the same universe where Superman, advanced alien technology, and even magic exists. I should learn to calm down and enjoy these stories more.
