Huh, I didn’t even notice the lack of a leg until I read this.

When Ms. Wheatgrass received the invitation from Photo Finish, she thought it was a cruel joke. She was COO of her family’s farm holdings, she was the victim of a medical error, and she was approaching her thirties.
 
But a surprisingly quiet and private meeting with the infamously outrageous photographer changed her mind. The “Enduring Strength” black-and-white art photo calendar was a project Photo Finish had been working on ever since she’d heard of the young pegasus in the opening ceremony of the Equestria games, the one who couldn’t fly.
 
It was easy to recognize the struggles of unicorns who couldn’t cast magic and pegasi who couldn’t fly, Miz Finish said, but disabled earth ponies were rarer and often considered complete cripples, certainly less desirable romantically.
 
The goal of this calendar, featuring disabled earth mares in romantic poses and settings, was to change that perception.
 
Agreements and forms were signed, dates were set, and photographs were taken. Wheatgrass was Miss September, with the caption “I am whole”.
