Twilight, in Spike’s body: “Spike, Spike! I’m home! I hope that whatever crazy antics we got into today when I switched our bodies doesn’t cause any lasting consequences. Well, for me at least… Rarity’s probably never going to speak to you/probably sue you, but… hey. All in the name of science, right? Spike? Spike?
 
(Twilight turns a corner and see herself, that being Spike in her body, standing there in disheveled clothes and with rumpled, wild hair.)
 
Twilight: Umm… Spike? W-What’s wrong?
 
Spike, in Twilight’s body: Twilight, while you were off ruining what little that I have that resembles a life with my body, I was conducting some experiments of my own.
 
(Twilight gasps!)
 
Twilight: “Spike, you… you didn’t!”
 
Spike: “Oh, yes… yes I did. I did something that totally changed the way I look at you… how I feel about you.”
 
Twilight: “Oh no! My actions had consequences!”
 
Spike: “Oh, they sure did Twilight… they sure did. And now that I’ve had your body at my fingertips all day, I’ve learned some… things. And we can never go back to the way it was before…”
 
Twilight, starting to cry: “Spike… you, you can’t mean…”
 
(Spike leans closer to his own body, hovering over Twilight as she often does to him.)
 
Spike: “Yes, Twilight… today, when I was alone in this castle, with your body at my command—
 
Twilight: “No… no, please!”
 
Spike “—I learned that your body is actually able to do physical work/chores/basic maintenance around here!”
 
Twilight, sobbing: Nnnoooooo! My house of lies has fallen!

Meh, I feel a magic potion that would drastically change one’s body to the opposite gender, sounds a bit more complicated that one that simply switches the minds of two, already existing, bodies.

Knowing how these comics tend to go, I’m betting the punchline will be that twilight accidentally scores with Rarity, thus humiliating spike for life.
 
I mean, I could be wrong, but I tend to be pessimistic when things concern spike.

“Hey Spike, I needed a dick, so instead of making, like, a gender swap potion or something, I made a body-swap one (which seems more complicated, really) so I could steal yours!”
