Hasbro has said the length of this season has nothing to do with its longevity. Hasbro loves MLP. Have you considered that this season is starting later so that we won’t have to wait even longer between Season 3 and Season 4?
 
Don’t read too much into the length of any given season or wait between seasons. In fact, I suspect Hasbro ordered 52 episodes way back in Season 1. It’s just that by the time Season 3 arrived, they had absolutely no idea how ridiculously popular this show would be.

It will still be depressing if we keep thinking about it.  
Seriously, it’s like if The Hub staff were going to see this or something and release it before.

Well that’s really really depressing.

Quality takes time folks.

Let’s just hope the next wait between seasons will be any longer.

Where have you been, it was confirmed long ago it would be 13.

There had better not be no fuckin 13 episodes this season. I want 26 or Hasbro’s getting firebombed.

Because there’s 13 episodes this season instead of 26. They’ll probably run 5 up to a Christmas special, then break for a while, then run the remaining 8 up to mid-April.

You know you should look on the bright side, at lest FiM is getting a better deal then Secret Millionaires Club, 26 TV episode to be made in all and so far only 3 have aired, one in October of 2011, one in April, and one September.

Has Hasbro given the reason why this season is so short yet?

They sure stretch out that 13 episodes. This is the death of the show gentlemen, hopefully the fandom dies with it.

At this point, the layoff is longer than the season will be. It’s almost like we’re lucky to get anything at all.

If the seven-month delay had happened between seasons 1 and 2, I probably would have walked away. This year I had enough material to survive it, so I’m sticking around.

Oh boo hoo, also this doesn’t call for the ‘spoiler:s03’ tag.
