Celestia, depending on where Pink bitch whatevershe’scalled lives, may not have regular contact with her enough to be able to notice much, but Rusted Tinpot was her bloody fiance, you’d think he’d say, “gee something’s not quite right here, Pinko seems a bit off.”. Yes, he did get a face full of brain control but that wasn’t, as far as I am aware, until deep into the episode.
 
I dunno, I stopped watching two seconds after he started speaking because holy fuck my ears wanted to punch something. Not even Derpy could muster up that much durr.

For Chrirt’s sake, it was a two parter of a Saturday morning cartoon, you have to make due with what you’re given.

I didn’t like Shining Armor’s surfer-dude voice. The male ponies in this show have such dumb sounding voices, for some reason.

Every character has to start somewhere. With the stupid logic you guys are working with, I would hate every single first episode of every series.  
Hey guess what, they’re coming back, you know what that means? You get your precious character development you’ve been asking for. Maybe we should stop exploring new areas and leave everything in a stagnant stasis. I’m so glad you guys aren’t the writers for the show.
