I think he’s implying their “psionic energy” would be a different color, not that they can’t do it.
Really? That bit of info is a bit hard to swallow Doctor.
How can they mimic Earth Pony magic to make plants grow faster or manipulate the weather with their hooves like Pegasi but not be able to mimic a simple levitation spell like a Unicorn?
I guess that means that they won’t be replacing any unicorns since a unicorn that can’t perform magic would obviously be- Oh, wait. They already have and they apparently can pass as a real one.
because he’s never wrong, and always the hero?
Immortal God+ death of mortal friends = HATE CELESTIA
Why do I have a feeling The Doctor’s gonna get his soul crushed when this turns out to be true…?

All of you calm down
Eh, semantics.
No, you want to whine, bitch and complain every page.
I’m actually watching this tag. I want to see this through to the end. God help me.
Then filter. All you need to do. It’s not gonna get any better apparently.
Yeah, but there’s a difference between “tragic fall of a great hero” and “I’ve gone full Skeletor and sold out my people for no reason.” Seriously? Of all the villains that Doctor Who has that could conceivably convince Twilight to turn evil - the Master, the Valeyard, the Silence - why pick the Zygons, who could be defeated by humans and showed barely more intellect than any given monster of the week?
Seriously. What is the point of this? Why would Twilight emerge like this? There is literally no reason behind any of it. And I’m not even going to touch how much the Tenth Doctor is off his meds here. I want to like this story, I want a good tragedy, but this is just so off the rails.
Also, being an immoral god tends to wane on one’s sanity, and is a better twist than “Twi’s still the same. It was a fake all along”.
He just said that that’s the real Twi. No cheap tricks, but the real deal.
