Description

“A Blossomforth pic where she isn’t disgustingly contorting, yay!

I actually love Blossomforth’s design; she’s definitely one of my favorite background ponies. I wish there was more art of her that didn’t involve her snapping her spine.”

Well, I don’t really care about the specific science of it. I just know that I’m sick of seeing art of her bending into weird, often anatomy-breaking poses. I have the “that pony sure is flexible” tag hidden for a reason. Even if her spine isn’t breaking, it still looks unsettling to me, and the fact that that’s the subject matter of most of her art is what bothers me, as she’s one of my favorite background ponies.

People don’t get it. Contortion is not dangerous if you train yourself correctly. The muscles stretch, there is no “snapping” the vertebrae angle causing the spine to curve.

Completely safe and natural. In fact, contortion is a sign of athleticism.
