Except she already kinda did? I don't remember the exact line, but I believe Midnight Sparkle said she wasould ultimately destroy the planet Equestria is on in the process of studying it. Daydream Shimmer held her own against Midnight. This makes both characters, to use Versus debate terminology, Planet-Busters. That puts them in at least Saiyan Saga Vegeta's power range, far beyond anything seen in the main show.


 
Admittedly, Sci-Twi also got this power boost, but Sci-Twi ain't the main character of FiM, is she?
