Theknd has a point. While you bring up her nationality, you don’t say how/why it effects anything. If culture has any fractures in something like this, that explain instead if just saying it does.

if little aj gets her ludicrous power from having a father who’s from dark souls, then why is she using an attack from overwatch?
is it because the artist is a bandwagon riding otaku who thinks that calling out the name of your attack makes it better, that calling them chi turns your superpowers into wise philosophical commentary, and that fighting with a wooden stick makes you an honorable warrior, not a blooming idiot?
I thought it was obvious, but presumably it isn’t. Rarity is okay at magic, or was, and Nightmare Rarity can likely match up against Luna (I’ve forgotten how the climax went in FiM Issue 8, lel). However, there’s concern between Twilight and Alternate over the various cracks in the Fourth Wall, bringing about the possibility there are numerous other beings more powerful than any pony, even a nightmare pony or princess pony. This may change easily based on Loveless’ preferences, but I suspect there are or will be creatures besides the ones from Alien, Metroid, Monster Hunter, and Dark Souls. (Dark Souls monsters were simply mentioned, the only thing from Dark Souls to enter Equestria has been Applejack’s armour and engagement ring. <w< )
Meaning, neither opponent on this page is… As strong. I’d imagine. As mentioned, this belief is subject to change. ^_^
I think the creator is doing a good job. And I enjoy reading Nightmare Rarity and her family. My beef right now is with Little AJ: only alicorn Twilight from the current main cast could push Nightmare Rarity like Little AJ is doing right now. Yet LAJ laments about how weak she is. And I still can’t tell if this power here is a result of her soul eater sword, pony friend helping her or LAJ’s human blood bringing out something hidden, or even the element lite(?) amulet she is wearing doing something new. It’s certain not a part of anything AJ original has ever done. There’s just a lot of complicated aspects to some of these new characters. Some it works well and some of it just makes things too heavy.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get the artist to change his storyline by complaining about it. As a reader, you have two choices; read, or don’t. If you like some elements, you just have to decide whether that is worth continuing to read for those.
This is the internet, not real life, things work different here due to the “you cannot interact with the person directly”, in any case go to the artist DA instead of complaining here.
But if i was the artist, i would simple block you.
I follow the golden rule: I want people to treat me in the same way I treat them. And as a comedian and a writer I always welcome criticism. Heck, I pay people to beta-read my work. And helped me improve. So I give my opinion on the writing and the character and maybe the artist will reconsider their work. As soon as you publish your work, it is fair game for criticism and I see a lot of potential in the artwork of this artist.
But right now he is the Adam Sandler of fancomics. High production value and no effort and outright laziness in the parts that actually matter.
As for “Don’t look at it if you don’t like it”. Well, I tend to like it when it is about Spike, Rarity and their family and not about his group of disgusting Mary-Sue, sexual harassment OCs and their epic fights that only serve to make their violence more acceptable.
Well, then filter it.
That’s not an excuse for bad writing and terrible characters.
And how is it supposed to land a joke if there is no basic framework that can be broken for comedic effect?
If you have no pride in your work and don’t put any effort into it, then I will call you out for it, sorry, that’s how it works

This has to be the most annoying Mary-Sue OC in the history of Fanfiction! Seriously, AJ, admit that you were drinking constantly during your pregnancy and dropped this piece of filth down the stairs a few dozen times. There is no other explaination for such a disgusting Pony. Garble was more likable, at least he was honest about how big of a jerk he was.
You forgot to mention that the guy was killed before Twi found AJ.

My understanding is that AJ was lost in another world in the form of a human where she fought demons with a man that she fell in love with. Twilight finally recovered her but not before AJ got pregnant with his child.
