That’s a terrible advertisement. 4chan is weeaboo central, and anyone used to seeing cute anime girls would never get 100ft near these Equestria Girls with subpar design if they’re not pony fans already.
Given that the only thing /mlp/ is into is trolling and porn, the “hooves vs. no hooves” debate seems rather quaint.
Yeah, that’s kind of the point. The joke is that they shouldn’t be mad about it simply because they aren’t pony versions but are the same characters from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
Ha. The rest of the boards don’t care much for EG. In my experience it tends to illicit the same amount of disdain as a pony image.

The purpose of the banner is to advertise /mlp/ to the rest of the boards. It’s not meant to be a slam on EQG-haters but more of a sarcastic jab at other who hate seeing pony images outside /mlp/. Kind of like a “hey come on guys it’s cool, we have humans too ^:)”
True, but I often see it worded like “LOOK LOOK AT THIS THING DOESN’T IT UPSET YOU” or something like that. Also, it is a legitimate criticism for why you may not enjoy something, nothing to get upset about from either side.
Well, there is a difference between enjoying something others don’t and trying to illicit an angry response from someone. I’ve found it happens whenever a character simply has no hooves.
Well, it often involves baiting from the EqG side to start with, to be fair.
It should be noted it is always the >no hooves f*gs that start it.
