I mean without Discord’s magic. It’s fun and all, but part of the fun is just watching the ponies have a game night, do something normal, while also giving us a little view in the world they create. Discord using his magic on the situation would take away as much as it gives.

I’m pretty sure with Discord’s magic, the two are the same.
 
But yeah, I’d like to see them play more, too.

Am I the only one who wants another episode like this, with the Mane 6 playing a game together? Like, the entire episode would take place in the perspective of the characters they’d play, except for the parts where we see the real ponies as they play said game.

Would she not do it because she was such a jock she thought reading was for egg-heads? Or would she love it because of how she loves reading?
 
It seems incredibly similar, almost identical to reading, so probably something she would never try, but if she actually did/does, would love it to pieces. So, Season 1 Rainbow: no, Season 6 Rainbow (or even S3) would probably love it if she’s tried it yet.
 
But of course I imagine she’d love the full immersion even more!

I’m still waiting for someone to run with the idea of Dash wanting to play O&O, but learns it’s not what she expected.

That’s probably the only reason those two got interested, maybe? Pinkie might try it, but I can’t help but think Dash would find it boring much like Discord did at first. But actually being completely immersed in it so that it’s physical instead of mental is a whole different matter.
