given proper execution, applejack could be a terrifying foe. this comic was the exact opposite of proper execution.
To be fair, AJ does kick pretty damn hard, so she could prove as much a threat as the others.
yeah, it’s not like they had any secret magical powers they could use to defeat her, like say for instance splitting up and running in different directions.
But if Applejack had forced Spike and the cutie mark crusaders to work for her for pay so-called months rent of the clubhouse, they could not do anything to find a cure.

Technically it was not for Luna, Spike and the cutie mark crusaders would not have been able to deal with the problem, because they would be still running away from Applejack. And above all the idea of calling Zecora he has always been of Luna.

You’re right. It’s nobody’s fault. But many blamed Celestia for the fact that Luna is again Nightmare Moon because she sent her in mission alone without going with her.
considering that the premise of this story is evil water that makes you evil, I don’t think you can really blame any of the characters for this.
