Anyone: But there are only 41.
Pinkie Pie: Exactly!
Korra learned Metalbending in the city of Zaofu. The city founded by Suyin Bei Fong, Toph’s other daughter. It is known for it’s single-minded devotion to innovation, freedom of expression and meritocracy. They even have plans for a Shinkansen style rail-line and created Metelbending acupuncture therapy.
“DXM in Korra.”
I’m afraid that couldn’t be further from the truth. Message me to find out why.
Tell that to the part where Yakone twisted Aang like a pretzel, child abuse (ON SCREEN I MIGHT ADD) and a murder-suicide!
Honestly, I can’t pick a specific episode that hooked me because I went into the show planning on watching the whole season. As for the followup seasons, Nickelodeon didn’t ask for more episodes past the first season’s 12 until most, if not all, of the work was finished, so the renewal had no effect on the pacing of the first season.
Korra actually did bend steam in one episode. I think it was when she was pwnd the Lieutenant.
Their philosophy is one of the major factors of their bending. And correct me if I’m wrong, but if you take away one of the factors behind ones bending you can’t bend period, I believe that’s what happened to Zuko for a period of time.
Does the network really need them to do that?
Why don’t those guys ever just seal people in boxes and squish em?
maybe metal benders using liquid mercury to fuck shit up or the avatar uses fire, water and air to steam bend…owch
That said, I’ll keep an open mind. Is there an episode in particular that would would hook me in? I didn’t like FiM until I watched Secrets of my Excess, for example.
