Yup-yup. Two consenting adults. (ships spike with all the mares, so counts him as an adult)
 
That exact scenario? Most likely almost never. But IRL there’s been plenty of cases of someone who had a thing for someone, wrote it down in some form, the target of their affection found out, and reciprocated.

Someone remember an old comic where twilight is happily writing her fanfics when she notices a letter for celestia is inside her fanfic journal, which means she accidentally sent one fanfic to celestia? I can’t find it, the fanfic in question was yaoi with doctor whooves and celestia thought it was a real thing.
