Ok, that is a pretty valid point
While I vastly prefer Pepsi over Coke, both pale in comparison to root beer. No other soda mixes quite like it with ice cream. Mmm… chocolate root beer float…

Coke and pepsi are trash compared to most carbonated beverages anyway.
