Actually I’m big on characterisation, and I’m not interested in him just for the shipping (although that is a nice plus). I’m interested in him because for once we have a well-rounded male character in these movies

Because that’s what we Bronies have been doing since the show started! Heck, we’ve been doing that the MAIN CHARACTERS on several occasions! So why should Flash be any different?

I would actually pay money to see an Equestrian Dudes movie staring Flash Sentry and friends! The entire movie is guys like Big Mac and Bon Bon! They spend the entire movie trying to get a date but can’t score because they are too nice! It will be great!

And Timber’s somehow different? Last I checked he did the same thing Flash did in the first movie; Flirt a little and leave Twi blushing.
 
And if you’re going to just outright ignore the other facts about his character that I posted then you have no right to just judge him and tell us to “give up”.
 
It really bugs me that we come from a fandom where we can take a character that sits differently and make her into a human obsessed nut, a character with an animation error on her eyes and make her into a muffin obsessed ditz, a DJ that had less than two seconds of screentime and make her a party animal that’s dating that one mare from the gala episode, or that one gaming colt that had a two second cameo and make him Sweetie Belle’s love interest.
 
And yet when one character pops up and ends up being the object of the main characters affections he’s suddenly “bland” and the bane of the fandom’s existence? And then when another character shows up with the same purpose it’s suddenly ok?! The fact that no one even tries to give him a personality like we’ve done with every other character in the series is what pisses me off.
 
Flash-hate is pointless, hypocritical, and just plain STUPID.

Three EG movies and nothing for Flash and H Twilight/P Twilight, but now a ladysman can charming H Twilight in some seconds.
