The flaw being that twins. Plus Pumpkin cake does look like Carrot Cake. Plus the fur and mane color combination can result in brown.

How would you explain why she’s fully grown in Twi’s flashback in The Cutie Mark Chronicles or showed up as a filly in The Cutie Pox? Besides, Amethyst was in Magic Kindergarten with Dinky despite being her “big” sister.
Plot twist, Derpy isn’t a normal pony and instead gives birth to them Gremlins style.
Given that derpy is about the same age as rarity, I find it EXTREMELY unlikely that either this colt or Dinky are her children unless she had her first foal at the age of 14. He’s most likely her brother or another close relative
