Huh. He broke a lake. I wonder what the long-term changes to the landscape will be? New springs from a new water table. New water being introduced to a cave system that hasn’t gone through any erosion yet. Flooded caves and water-damage to their contents which had been thought to be permanently safe by the wizards that had kept their things there. (Can demons be made of water-soluble material? Salt? Sugar?) Flooding of areas by new springs resulting in new river-channels, and topsoil tuned into mud in meadows previously thought clean for ponies to frolic in. Short term, now they’ve got a mud flat leading into a cave for Maude to examine. She should hurry before it fills up.
Just imagine the havoc he could wreak if he meant to.
@AaronMk
If I’m correct in thinking that the earth spider from earlier was driven near the surface by the water flooding its home (a “large cave system”), it’ll probably take a while.
Also, considering the mention of a “brood mother”, there’s going to be more of those arachnophobe’s nightmares stomping around in the near future. Unless all the others drowned.
It didn’t, until Anon shook the local landscape, causing a sinkhole to open in the bottom of the lake.
There’s a cave (or several) below the lake, see, and the roof collapsed when he lifted the “stone” that was actually part of the bedrock.
They do live in such now, but of course there are lakes and rivers there, it wasn’t a desert or tundra. this isn’t a nearby lake, but one near the boulder barn at the border of the pie lands.
