They didn’t “waste resources”. Not having EQG movies would not necessarily have given you a FiM movie. It would have given you no movie at all.
 
Hasbro made Equestria Girls as a strategic industry move to steal the teenage girl audience, and do you know what? It worked. Equestria Girls managed to steal the Disney Princess license from Barbie. Do you have any idea how massive of a victory that is???

I’d do that just fine if they’d not use a franchise to promote another one, when they announce a MLP Movie you’d expect it to be actual ponies but EqG was just another disney highschool movies like so many there’s out there, it bothers me as a MLP fan that they waste resources in a movie that only has the first 5 minutes with actual ponies, but don’t get me wrong I don’t just go around cursing it I did choose not to watch the other 2 movies but a commentary here and there is pretty harmless, its not like i’m spreading #hate

I am confused. What is OP regarding?

Then why don’t you watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? You are saying you watched something about Humans and complained it wasn’t about Ponies. That’s like going to the theatre to watch Star Wars and complaining Jean Luc Picard or Spock weren’t in it.
