Y’know, I draw the mane 6 all the time in little doodles on not-fancy-at-all paper, but I’ve never taken the time to draw and color how I interpret them in my headcanon. TODAY THIS CHANGES. >8D
 
Starting off with Twilight: I wish she looked more…different, I guess, now that she’s a princess and all. I know there have been subtle changes, and they may continue to do more, but I’m still waitin’ on some full-out princess-ness. I think that her rainbow power colors really complement her so I decided to work with that palette (as I know many other artists do, as well). I imagine her horn would have grown since her alicorning (hah), and she would start to grow into a more ethereal, regal looking pony like the royal sisters. She’s still only slightly smaller than the average mare, but she’ll soon be as tall as Cadence. ;) In my headcanon she would also have more traditional unicorn features such as cloven hooves and a longer tail. I’ll do a full body shot sooner or later. =P
 
Also tried a new, quicker way of coloring which seems to have worked nicely for this sort of portrait. More to come! <3”
