Requested Pairing: Zecora x Braeburn I will use the requester’s story and adding to it.
 
One day in Appaloosa, a foal was struck with a terrible illness. The local doctor tried everything but couldn’t find a cure. Fearing that the foal would die, Braeburn sent a letter to Applejack, asking her if she could get her friends or anyone else to go down and try to make sense of the illness.
 
After reading the letter to Twilight, AppleJack and Twilight went to Zecora to see if she would know how to help. Zecora was quick to identify the disease, a sickness from her homeland, an affliction she herself had fallen prey to in her youth, and she knew how to make the cure.
 
However, as she got to the town, the town’s ponies were scared of her, thinking that she was an evil witch trying to make the foal sicker, having heard stories of Zebra shamans. Braeburn was the only ones who would meet with her. After all if AJ liked her, she couldn’t be bad. Zecora told him that she needed an ingredient from the desert and the two set out for a small oasis. However on their way back after getting the ingredient they were hit by a sandstorm and had to bunker down in a cave until it passed. As they waited for the storm to die down, they got to talking, learning about each other and their respective cultures.
 
Once the storm passed they returned to town and Zecora quickly made the cure for the foal. The townsfolk quickly accepted her and she stayed in Appaloosa to learn more about the magical plants avalible in the area and of course the Buffalo tribal magics. During this time her and Braeburn started dating. Zebra maraiages are different than pony traditions, so technically they’re not truly married. Not in the Equestrian sense anyway. They had a special biding ceremony from her homeland, and several months after was pregnant. She gave birth to a pretty golden zebra pony hybrid which they named Poisonous Flora. Flora grew up learning her mother’s trade, taking great interest in the subject. She got her cutie mark while harvesting potion ingredients.
 
Poisonous Flora:  
Personality: Flora enjoys working in the dirt and with flowers, keeping to herself and mixing new potions. She has a knack for making useful things from poisonous plants.  
Occupation: Potion maker, florist, shaman.  
Cutie Mark: A plant with blue bubbles.
