Twilight Sparkle and D.va vs. The Anti Guy Unit
Twilight Sparkle meets a team of shy guys known as Anti Guys. Each Anti Guy has 50 HP, and there are three of them, so that is a total of 150 HP. They are extremely powerful as they have an attack power of 10-12. There is only one partner who can help defeat the Anti Guys, and that is D.va from Overwatch.

Once you start getting down to the lower levels, enemies will each be doing way more damage than you can effectively vanilla-guard against even with all three defense up badges. That’s another factor of the original, the fact that you only have 30 BP and only so many of each badge. If you had to regularly contend with multiple Anti Guys for even just the last 10 levels, I’m pretty confident you would be screwed.
That’s not necessarily true. I managed to get through the Pit of 100 Trials without relying so much on the Super Guard, due to its precise timing to negate any damage, its not easy to preform because a lot of enemy’s has a specific motion and flow in their attacks.
All it takes is strategy, item management, and the proper use of badges. Chances are you’ll never prevail on the first try and its best to get an understanding of what type of enemies you’ll likely be dealing with once you hit the halfway mark.
The fact that you can’t superguard kind of means that you can’t really do a pit of 100 trials because you objectively could not survive that with your limited inventory, even with Star Powers.
And you don’t consider the crossover in this pic to be too overboard?
@SuperDEF
Ah now I remember. I never fought these guys to begin with since I would fulfill the requirements to skip them.
If the original Paper Mario had its own Pit of 100 Trials, I can see these guys on the last floors.
You can fight 1 Anti Guy in Chapter 4 in Shy Guys Toy Box (or give it a Lemon Candy to avoid the fight and get the treasure)
The 3 Anti Guys can be fought at the final chapter in Bowser’s Castle if you failed the second round of trivia questions as punishment, and believe me, it’s a real punishment if you’re not prepared for it.
@Keith Mowz
TTYD pretty much perfected everything about PM64. Although, you can always considered PM64 to be a challenge with the amount of limitations.
I watched that awhile ago. I was just curious to know if you were gonna do more Undertale-related stuff in the future.
@SuperDEF
Wait, where could you fight these guys again? Its been a long time since I’ve played the original Paper Mario.
Well if I’m going to be honest, three crossovers in one setting can be done right just as well as two especially with a short roster.
You can also stun them with Watt’s Mega Shock or Klevar’s Time Out.
That’s the plan for this gamer of StarCraft II
I don’t recall much about my strategy to defeat the 3 Anti Guys back when I first played the game, but during my second playthrough I did intentionally failed the trivia so I can fight them. I remembered not dieing during the battle despite carrying 2 Life Shrooms, I rearrange my bagdes to be more suited (Zap Tap and Defense Plus for example), and used Muskular’s Power Down ability. I’m not too sure if I had any Boo Sheets to avoid attacks.
I downloaded Paper Mario 64 a week from the eshop, so I’m going to try my luck and see if I still have the skills to beat the Anti Guys again.
Just bring some invisibility repels and the power down star power, is so satisfying seeing the bowser door going BSOD after defeating the anti guy trio.
Haha. Glad you said it dude. Your wish has been granted
I gave it a little Modern feeling to it, but I did add a saw lead for the melody.
Now imagine being forced to fight 3 of them. If you failed the trivia questions and unprepared for the fight…man, good luck.
I love mashing things up together as well but I don’t like going too crazy when its too many different things except for Smash Bros.
I’ve been hearing about Overwatch everywhere but I have no plan to get it.
Personally, I thought you would do some stuff with Undertale but I assume that game didn’t hold your interest for very long.
It’s not original, but it’s true, I love mashing things up together. YoshiGreenwater made a Godot Pony and that’s a crossover of MLP x Phoenix Wright. I had to request him to make D.va as a special guest because of two reasons.
I like her mech and her Ultimate, and also I like playing Overwatch and I find it very addicting.
