And yet none of those times was she ever unaware or blissfully ignorant to the danger she can push herself for others but she never goes braindead from it and make herself a liability from it.

She’s just following the butterfly and not really aware of what’s going on around her. Oh wait, that would be Pinkie.
Fluttershy’s sense of responsibility usually wins out over her fear. She did follow the CMC into the Everfree (back when it was actually treated as dangerous) and save both their lives and Twilight’s life in the process. See also Dragonshy, among other examples.
It was actually the exact opposite for me. At first, I was wierded out but still found it cute in its own way. Over time, however, I grew less fond of it.
I’m suddenly reminded about an episode of Kim Possible which posits that Ron was the braver of the two leads simply because nothing scares Kim while everything scares Ron…and yet he’s still right by her side in every mission.
I suppose that’s one way this issue could take it.
Yeah, just like that.
There are many kinds of bravery. The kind Daring Do has, for example, and the kind Fluttershy has. I’m certain the writers picked this pair precisely because the two are so different–each has a lesson they can impart to the other.
That’s what I’m assuming they mean by ‘teaching her bravery’. Which is like me teaching Superman how to lift.
There’s every chance I could be wrong, but I’m predicting the kind of ‘bravery’ that would work for Shy, but get anyone else killed.
How is that braver?
Eh they’ve done it before I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it yet again hence my worry.
Not to mention - Daring Do wouldn’t be smiling and looking behind her, she’d most likely instead have her hat pulled over her eyes, embarrassed by Fluttershy
Ugh
It’s a variant cover. Chill.
@Dustcan
I’d say the style resembles both characters
Remember, the story will be about her being brave.
Braver than somebody that spends almost her whole life adventuring and then finding time to write about it.

It’s Fosgitt’s ears that make me think Porky instead of Tweety.
Gods I hope this cover isn’t representative of her character in this comic.
Wrong Looney Toon.
All of Fosgitt’s ponies look like this guy.
My preference is cuteness mixed with an elegant art style. Like I mentioned before, a toony style gets stale for me after a while. So I can see where some Bronies are coming from
Dude, 90% of bronies think Fosgitt’s a hack worse than bottom-tier fan artists.
Which means 90% of bronies confuse personal preference with art criticism…
