Never happen in a million years, but if this story somehow references the Pennsylvania’s Buckshot War of 1838 I’d die laughing.

I will say, however the story turns out, the cover art looks lovely.

Oh I’m reasonably certain that all sorts of politicized nonsense will be crammed into this one and everypony will be reduced to either a caricature or an idiot.
 
Kind of like that DC limited series a few years ago where all the superheroes had big political arguments while hunting down some assassin killing the (fictional) American candidates. It was written by Willingham and Palmiotti to be ‘even-handed’. Because ‘using two extremeists who hate everyone that disagrees with them’ = ‘even-handed’. And yes, it was awful.
 
But I could very easily be wrong and this story could be 100% innocent, light-hearted fun without any hamfisted real life references. I hope.
