I never noticed that in the film, I was sure it was because the rat made the food. Still, we can both agree Zesty is worst pony, even beating Spoiled Rich for having zero redeeming qualities.

I think it could be worded a little better. Anton Lost his reputation for knowingly giving a restaurant great reviews based only on the fact that the food was amazing not that there was a rat in the kitchen. Zesty is so narrow minded she can’t even appreciate the simple tastes. Hopefully she doesn’t return, and she really doesn’t need to.

You get it! I’m a picky eater, but I’ll try new things even if I know I won’t like it. Anton lost his credibility by making the review he did on Gustaeu’s, but he still ended up happy in the end. Zesty didn’t even bother, and will surely never be redeemed.

They’re both gaunt food critics who enjoy fine dining and judge based on things. Here’s the difference. Anton was willing to try new things and enjoyed that wonderful level of flavor and taste. That Exquisite sensation of what good food is all about. Not “Oh! Exquisite food has only that subtle flavor.” Good food tastes wonderful to anyone who eats it and has that light hint that those with a more refined palate can enjoy. That light dash of this or that added to the pot for that taste that just adds to it without overpowering it. Like a bit of coffee in certain chocolate dishes.

The comparison doesn’t stop there. Anton actually at least tried the food before critiquing it. Zesty didn’t even bother trying it at all.
 
That’s why we haven’t seen any fanart of Zesty until now. There aren’t enough good qualities in her to warrant it. Almost every restaurant in Canterlot had to be the same bland thing to get her three hoof rating. If Rarity and Pinkie hadn’t come along, The Tasty Treat would’ve suffered the same fate. Granted, Rarity tried to turn it into a fancy place for Zesty’s approval, but she learns later that her rating doesn’t matter. Hell, my favorite part of the episode is when Rarity and the other restaurant owners told her off.
 
Like RIG said, the two are too different to be compared, that’s something we can both agree on.
