I like the idea that it’s intimate, not intimate enough that it would be awkward for close friends to do it to each other. I can’t think of any real-life analogues to it, maybe like the ear-cleaning thing they do in Japan?

I love it too. I wish we could see it on the show some day (in a non-romantic way of course). I also like the idea that this is something like a intimate hygiene for a pegasus.
